Career Development Group

The Career Development Group has members from all sectors of the library and information profession. 

Divisions  provide training and career development opportunities.  These include
• courses
• committee meetings
• newsletters
• fundraising
• social events

National Council works with divisions and with CILIP to provide national training opportunities such as our National Conference.

The Career Development Group also
• has Publications including the Chartership Reader
• is involved in Equal Opportunities
• supports International Projects 

There are many opportunities to get involved at divisional and national level.

National Officers and divisional committee members give their time to the group on a voluntary basis.
