CoFHE East Midlands Circle Event on Friday, 9th May 2008

Building for the Future: exploring library building and design issues

Many FE/HE colleges are currently undertaking or are about to undertake re-building and/or re-furbishing programmes. Many learning resources centres and libraries are being re-designed as a result. This half day event offers an opportunity to tour the new Learning Centre/Library at the University of Derby’s Buxton campus and participate in a workshop session to share experiences and good practice in library building and design.

The event will be combined with the CoFHE East Midlands Circle AGM.

Time: 10am – 1pm

Cost: £25 including buffet lunch and refreshments
(attendance at the AGM only is free of charge)

Places are limited. Please book by Friday, 25th April 2008.

The Devonshire Campus in a short walk from Buxton Railway Station. There is no car parking on campus, but there is on-street parking and a number of pay and display car parks within walking distance.

Please be advised that we will communicate with you by e-mail in all instances unless you indicate otherwise.

If you book and then fail to attend the event without informing us in advance you will be charged the full fee. If you let us know that you cannot attend less than one week in advance and we are not able to fill your place then you will also be charged the full fee.
