Hi we’re CoFHE South West.
We’re the South West branch of the 'Colleges of Further and Higher Education' (CoFHE) group of CILIP. So if you work in the South West (basically, Lands End to Swindon!) and you work in a college then we’re the group for you!
We’re a local group for local people! (Though we won’t burn anyone who comes to one of our events outside the area.) We offer a local forum where local issues are discussed, local events organised and members are encouraged to meet and exchange ideas. We offer a vital link, through CoFHE national committee's Circles Liaison Officer and the regional representatives, for local issues that have national importance.
We’re aiming to have two Committee Meetings a year, one in September/October and one in November/December to plan and review events. Non-Committee members are welcomed to come along. We are then planning to have two training events a year, one in February/March and the other including the AGM in May/June.
Want to find out more? Want to get involved? Then contact one of the Committee Members.
