GLIG at Umbrella 2005

Umbrella 2005 promises to be the outstanding UK library event of the year. As in the past, it will attract strong support and enable suppliers of products, services and systems to both meet and influence the CILIP community of library and information professionals.

The event will be presented at The University of Manchester on 30 June to 2 July 2005 with the theme 'Tackling the key issues together'. It will provide a forum for library professionals from across the UK to discuss and debate key issues directly affecting their current work and their future prospects.

NEW AT UMBRELLA 2005
So much is new at Umbrella 2005, and all the changes will provide real benefit to suppliers and delegates alike. A wide range of sponsorships will compliment the exhibition, while a new-look programme will provide special streamed sessions for the first timers so delegates can focus more easily on specific topics.

Supporting the conference will be an enhanced range of social events to increase opportunities for networking. The 2005 event will also see the launch of the prestigious Umbrella Awards Dinner, which will highlight outstanding achievements.
