Business Plan 2007/8 - Actions for 2007-2008
In 2006 all HLG members were invited to complete the membership survey: 347 responses were received. While the majority of those who responded are aware of most of the Group’s activities and services, the actions of the HLG Committee and its panels for the coming year will be largely driven by the results of the survey, and will follow our key objectives of Influence, Inform, Involve.

Core Collection of Medical Books
The Health Information Working Party and Tomlinsons Book Services published the 5th edition of the Core Collection of Medical Books (CC) on 19th July 2006.
This new edition is the first to mark the association with Tomlinsons Booksellers who have taken over the publication and distribution.

HLG in conjunction with Blackwell Scientific, publishes Health Information and Libraries Journal, the only UK peer-reviewed journal of health library practice and research. Members receive a discount on personal subscriptions. For individual members in 2007, the subscription is £47.

HLISD - Directory of Health Library and Information Services in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland
HLISD is live at http://www.hlisd.org and covers the UK and the Republic of Ireland and includes all health library and information sectors - NHS, FE & HE, Government, Professional Bodies, Patient Information, Voluntary Organisations and Public Library Services. It has been developed by HLG in partnership with the RCN and NLH.
