ANZIL: Australian & New Zealand Institute for Information Literacy
Supports organisations, institutions and individuals in the promotion of information literacy and, in particular, the embedding of information literacy within the total educational process.  The ANZIL web site includes an excellent Resources section.

The European network for Information Literacy (EnIL) :
Aims at opening a discourse on Information Literacy at European level, in order to promoting the establishment of a Culture of Information in Europe.

Information Literacy section of IFLA

International Information Literacy Resources Directory :
An IFLA project on behalf of UNESCO, to collect information about information literacy initiatives around the world.

The Information Literacy Website:
Launched at Lilac 2006, this site supports practitioners by providing news, case studies, examples of best practice and freely available toolkits. Our aim is to provide a practical resource that information professionals regularly visit to discover the latest developments in information literacy.

Lis-Infoliteracy :
Mailing list for those concerned with Information Literacy and information skills teaching in FE and HE.

Prague declaration :

Sconul Advisory Committee on Information Literacy :

GAELS :
Developing courseware and teaching material for uses in information retrieval skills.

IATUL (International Association of Technological University libraries) :
Currently working on a project to form an Information Literacy Taskforce.

Infoteach:
Infoteach is a new, international, online community of practice for librarians and information workers who teach. The Infoteach wiki has been created by Chris Powis as part of his work as a current National Teaching Fellow.

Information Handling Skills course :
An interactive course demonstrating how to use and retrieve information from a variety of sources
 
LIMES: Library Information Management Employability Skills:
A major two year curriculum development project  creating a database of new learning and teaching materials for Library and Information Science. The project is a partnership between Library and Information Science Departments at Loughborough University, University of the West of England, Bristol and Liverpool John Moores University.

The Scottish Information Literacy
Project: working with partners to create an information literate Scotland
:
The initial focus of the Project was to develop a (Scottish) National Information Literacy Framework and work on this is well advanced. However engagement with the information literacy agenda pointed up the need for advocacy for information literacy in order that government and NGOs can better understand the issue and also to promote the importance of information literacy in the employability and workplace agendas. The importance of information literacy as a civil right for the wider community has also come to the fore.
