This is a new page on the ILIG web site.  Its aim is to show, through the links below, how CILIP  takes an active and important part in the library and information sciences field world wide.

There are a couple of points to bear in mind when using the links - 1) they may go to pages which are only accessible to CILIP members who are registered with the CILIP web site and who are logged-in.  2)  they do take you outside ILIG's area of responsibility.

Did you know?


That CILIP offers grants - the First-timer and Partial awards - for CILIP members to attend the annual World Library and Information Congress (WLIC)?  Until 2003 the WLIC was known as the IFLA Conference.     

And that CILIP and the English-Speaking Union (ESU) make an annual  Travelling Librarian Award for a CILIP member to make a study tour to the United States of America?
