Philip Thomas, our Group's long-serving Treasurer, is retiring.  This is an opportunity for you to get involved in the Local Studies Group, make your voice heard, and work in a key role in supporting the Local Studies Group.  Serving on a Group Committee is excellent professional development, and would be ideal experience, for example, for someone working towards their Chartership.  If you are a member of the Group and are interested in becoming more actively involved in the work of the Group, please contact Helen Pye-Smith, Hon.
