The London Maze…, held at Bishopsgate Institute, London. A local history fair with stands from a dozen local history organisations, including the London Metropolitan Archives, Westminster Archives, London Topographical Society, Guildhall Library, Photo London, and the National Monuments Record. There were talks by Dr Andrea Tanner on "Researching local history: hospitals and workhouses", Ian Maxted on "Sources for economic and industrial geography: a case study of the London book trades", Dr Cathy Ross "The new nineteenth century galleries and other sources for local history at the Museum of London" and Katherine Burke on "The Post Office Archive". There were also guided walks of Spitalfields and the eastern fringes of the city. The event was a great success with 325 visitors
