Abstract
MLA North West and the NW Museums Hub have recognised the vital role that Inspiring Learning for All can play in developing a community focused learning organisation and creating the root and branch changes that underpin the Government’s modernising agenda.
In early 2004 the NW Museums Hub appointed consultants to work with staff in the six museums to develop an ILFA directed learning delivery plan. The process of developing the plan involved staff from all levels and functions. Implementing the programme has been challenging but rewarding as staff worked within and across the six museums to develop themselves, learn from each other and support the programme.
MLA North West has since appointed the consultants to widen their work to the broader MLA sector.
