Biography

Joanna joined Penguin in October 1998 after six months of editing on the Sunday Telegraph Magazine.  She is happier now that she is back in the civilised world of publishing where she once more pays for her lunch and has more control over what appears in the press than she did when she worked on the newspapers.

She is married to Barry, a film-maker, and they have a daughter, Erin.  Her weekends are spent in the hammock at her Normandy garden whilst renacting (with great feeling) all the supporting roles in The Little Mermaid.

Abstract
Joanna will speak specifically about Reading Partners and the initiatives publishers and libraries have worked together on over the last 12 months and the vision going forward.
