Mission Statement
Aims of the Public Libraries Group
The PLG aims:
To act as a conduit for information on public libraries to the library profession, professional bodies, departments of librarianship, all levels of special interest groups, the book trade and the public at large.
To promote awareness, communication and networking within the public library sector.
To provide services and activities which reflect the views and requirements of all members of the Group and offer opportunities for professional involvement.
