The Committee is split into two panels – Marketing and Professional Practice. Each Panel has a specific role and meets four times a year – January, April, July and October. Each Panel has a set of specific roles to which individual members are allocated, so that every Committee member has his or her own responsibilities to discharge for the Group.
The full Committee meets twice a year, immediately after the January and July Panel meetings. An Executive Panel, comprising the Officers of the Group, meets after the April and October Panels and as required during the year to address specific issues.
The Group also has an Editorial Board to support the Public Library Journal. This meets twice a year, in January and July, and reports to the Executive Panel immediately after its meeting.
