
Public Library Journal
Published by the Public Libraries Group of CILIP, PLJ is the leading periodical produced specifically for local authority libraries. With a circulation of almost 6,500 in the UK and abroad, the journal is published four times a year, and sent free of charge to members of the Group.
The aims of the journal are:
• to provide high-quality material documenting issues regarding the public library service in the UK
• to provide an international perspective on public library issues, as appropriate
• to promote and disseminate examples of best practice
• to disseminate academic research in the field of public librarianship.
