PPRG 25th Anniversary Conference, 6th-8th November 2008

The PPRG Committee is extremely sorry to announce the cancellation of this year's annual conference, owing to the low numbers of bookings we have received to date.

We are of course very disappointed that our Conference will not go ahead. This is the first time we have had to cancel an event in 25 years and it is particularly upsetting that it has been necessary in our Silver Jubilee year. Unfortunately, the group cannot afford to sustain the financial loss.

We are already working on a programme of events for next year and these will be published on our website and in our newsletter 'Public Eye' as soon as the details are finalised.

First Annual Seminar a Success!
In May this year we relaunched our annual Seminar Series with a look at 'Marketing on a Shoestring', led by Antony Brewerton, Head of Academic Support at Warwick University. The 20 people who attended all rated it as good or excellent.

As part of our commitment to spreading good practice far and wide, we have decided to make ALL the papers we've collected from our conferences available from the website regardless of whether or not you are a member of PPRG, or even of CILIP!
