Images from provenance research at the Middle Temple Library - The Library is the in the process of compiling provenance data for its collections, with the ultimate aim of creating a provenance database. A web-page on provenances in the Library has already gone on-line. The collection is an excellent example of a Renaissance library, and as such holds items once belonging to important figures of the day, such as John Donne, Ben Jonson, and John Dee, among others.
