The Directory of Rare Book and Special Collections (ed. B.C. Bloomfield, LA Publishing 1997).

This book is the culmination of the RDSCG's co- operative effort to map the holdings of rare books and special collections throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. The second edition lists the relevant holdings of approximately 1,200 libraries. It covers mainly books printed before 1850, but includes manuscript collections and more modern material where related.
