South West
The South West Section aims to support members working in and interested in the Higher Education information world within the South West area. We endeavour to hold events covering a broad spectrum of issues from the latest conceptual developments to practical skills-based workshops. Our area is geographically broad, therefore we try to spread the location of events across the region.
At recent events we've considered electronic initiatives in HE libraries, surveyed new frontiers in user education, and looked at experiences of Web 2.0 in the academic library. Browse to our 'Reports' page to find descriptions of and presentations from previous events.
'DARTS 2 – Discover Academic Research, Training & Support', our second residential conference, will be held in June 2009 in the beautiful location of Dartington Hall, near Totnes. See our 'Events' page for details of how to book!
