UC&R Group/CoFHE conference bursary award
The West Midlands section of the UC&R Group are offering a bursary for a first time attendee to this year's UC&R/CoFHE joint conference, being held at Liverpool Hope University from June 23rd to 26th 2008. As well as not having attended a UC&R/CoFHE joint conference before, applicants should be current UC&R Group members residing, working or studying within the West Midlands region, with preference given to new professionals (anyone joining the profession in the last three years) and information/library science students.

Upcoming event
Plans are being made for a half-day training and networking event in late summer. Details of this and any future events will be publicised here and also on the LIS-UCR, LIS-PROFESSION and LIS-LINK mailing lists (see JISCmail to subscribe to one or more of these lists).
