Welcome to the web pages for the North West Section of the University College and Research Group.

The NW Section aims to provide a focus for the professional concerns and interests of all university, college, and research library and information staff in the region. You can find out about our forthcoming events, reports on past events, and much more from this web site.

The regional sections enable members to contribute directly to professional activity and development. They also act as a channel of communication between local members and the national group.

UC&R offers its members:

Opportunities for continuing professional development through involvement in the Group and organisation of events;
Engagement with regional, national and international issues and debates and the chance to contribute to formation of CILIP policies;
Forum for exchange of information, experience, good practice and innovation;
Networking opportunities.
