    CILIP Cymru Wales Library and Information Conference 2014

    CILIP Cymru Wales have recently delivered the annual library and information conference.
    'Making a difference: Libraries and their communities' was attended by over 200 delegates taking part over two days (15th-16th May 2014).

    The successful event included a full trade exhibition and speakers from across Wales and the UK. 

  • CIG Conference 2014 Call for Papers - Deadline Extended

    Proposals for papers are invited for the Cataloguing and Indexing Group (CIG) Conference 2014, “Metadata : Making an Impact”.

    Booking is now open for the biennial CIG Conference, which is to be held at the University of Kent, Canterbury and will run between 2:00pm on Monday 8th September and 1:00pm on Wednesday 10th September.

    Registration is now open, and the deadline for submitting papers has passed.

    This year’s conference will explore issues relating to how we accommodate our special collections, including building new libraries, with candid case studies from Aberdeen and elsewhere.

  • RBSCG Conference 2014 title announced

    The Rare Books and Special Collections Group conference for 2014 will deal with building and refurbishing library buildings and housing collections.It is entitled New Space for Old Books: Building for the Future and will take place at the University of Aberdeen, 27th-29th August 2014.
