This workshop has now taken place.
This half-day seminar is intended to inform the participants about the recently launched Creative Commons UK Licences and how these licences can best be used by an individual rights owner, by an organisation or for a project.

The Creative Commons UK Licences are standard licences containing generous terms enabling users to share, re-use, modify and distribute creative works.

Benefits from attending
By the end of the seminar participants will have a good understanding of the benefits and risks of using the Creative Commons UK Licences for themselves, their organisation and their users.

Who will benefit from attending?
Anyone who is interested in the Creative Commons initiatives and in using the Creative Commons UK Licences for access to creative works.

Seminar leader: Emanuella Giavarra LLM
Emanuella is a specialist EC, international contract and copyright lawyer with the Chambers of Prof. Mark Watson-Gandy. She is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of the European Commission (DG-INFOSO) and a member of the Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance.
