Vanda Broughton is Lecturer in Library & Information Studies at University College London, where she teaches classification. She is joint editor of the Bliss Bibliographic Classification, and Associate Editor of the UDC. She has delivered a number of short courses on UDC, and is the author of textbooks on classification and thesaurus construction.

Dr Barry Witcher
Barry teaches strategic management, general and change management at the University of East Anglia. Barry began his working life as a bank economist in the City of London, and afterwards lived for some years in Scotland where he helped establish the Scottish Trout Marketing Association, and provided management support to community cooperatives in the Western Isles. Afterwards, at Durham University, he founded and directed the Centre for Quality and Change.
