"Thousands of new sources, good well-paced detail."

13 March 2008, London
2 October 2008, London
Finding accurate and reliable information on a company or organisation in a short amount of time can prove difficult. Throw the company name into your favourite search engine and it’s likely you will be overloaded by a torrent of disparate information.

It is much better to know what different types of company information are available and how they can be searched without the endless repetitive results.

Benefits of attending
Delegates attending this course will gain an understanding of just what types of company information are available and how and where to access them.

By the end of the course participants will have:
  • a clear understanding of the types of company information available
  • a finding guide for the key sources
  • search strategies for company information
  • creative approaches to unearthing gems

Who should attend?
Library and information staff charged with providing company information as part of their work, particularly useful for those requiring a structured approach to the subject.

Special notes: this is not an Internet course but the Internet will be used to illustrate sources and techniques throughout the day.
