The school library empowers learning: it gives access to real and virtual environments where learners can discover resources that inspire and develop them.
Organisation within the school library is paramount to its success. This course provides the skills, knowledge and competencies that are needed to make a school library effective in the 21st century.

This course is designed for those who do not have any formal library qualifications, but who are responsible for a school library.
Participants will understand the basics of school library organisation covering some of the key skills required.
