The course will cover an overview of social media, the value of weblogs, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Flickr, RSS feeds, start pages and other resources as appropriate. Delegates will be able to create accounts on these services, explore examples of how other organisations are using them. There will be a high practical content on this course, but prior knowledge or experience is not required or expected. Delegates should have access to an email account that they can use during the day in order to validate their accounts on different systems.
