Practical tips on Privacy with Paul Pedley

The webinar will outline the reasons why privacy is relevant to the work of library and information professionals, and why we need to do everything we can to protect the privacy of our users.
It will run through a series of scenarios involving the delivery of library services where privacy issues can and do arise. The scenarios relate to a wide range of libraries: public libraries, school libraries, higher education & research libraries, and corporate libraries.

This webinar will not be recorded. Webinar participants will have access to a set of powerpoint slides, along with a set of notes. A list of practical steps that staff can take in order to protect library user privacy will also be provided.
