Celebration day: celebrating the success of libraries and librarians

Wednesday 20th March, 10:00 - 16:00

Join us as we hear from Sarah Curran's absorbing talk about the current state of play in public libraries in Trafford, and David Stewart's enthusing discussion about CILIP and the important role we all play in its future and the futures of library and information professionals from across the North West and beyond.

We're also pleased to announce, a workshop, by Lisa Jeskins focusing on the different ways of promoting ourselves and our services in a challenging climate. Celebrating our talents, skills and knowledge, and the excellent services we offer to our customers, this brilliant, interactive workshop is aimed at everyone from new professionals to seasoned librarians.
