National Art Library at the Victoria & Albert Museum

Monday 14th October 2:00 pm - 15:30 pm

Join the GIG committee as we visit the ever popular National Art Library at the Victoria & Albert Museum once again. The National Art Library is located in beautiful and historic reading rooms overlooking the John Madejski Garden at the V&A. The Library holds the UK's most comprehensive public reference collection of literature on the fine and decorative arts including books, journals, exhibition catalogues, auction house sales catalogues, comics, e-resources and much more. The visit will consist of a treasures session, followed by a behind the scenes tour.

Max number of attendees: 20

NB. Bags will need to be left in the ground floor public cloakrooms prior to meeting outside the V&A Library on the third floor, so please allow extra time for this. There is a £1 charge. You are welcome to bring pencils and paper for making notes, and cameras/phones are fine for taking photos as long as you can turn off the flash.
