The CILIP BAME Network is very pleased to announce the inaugural national meeting of the
Network on Thursday, 12th September 2019 at UCL.
This event is free to attend.
This initial meeting will provide the first opportunity for BAME workers in the library, knowledge and information (LKI) workforce to network in a friendly, safe and supportive space whilst also exchanging knowledge and experience with colleagues from different regions and sectors. Attendees will also hear from leading BAME influencers, learn more about the work of the BAME Network and contribute to its development.
As many BAME LKI workers as possible are encouraged to attend this event. Non-members
of the CILIP BAME Network or CILIP are welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to
be involved in building a thriving and powerful Network that supports the development of
diverse library and information services and advances the needs of the LIS BAME
community.
