CILIP Annual General Meeting 2019

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals for 2019 will be held at CILIP, 7 Ridgmount Street on Thursday 17 October 2019 at 2 pm.

Individual Members whose membership subscriptions are not in arrears are entitled to vote at the AGM. Others are not entitled to vote but are welcome to attend as observers, for which tickets will be available.

Individual Members who are not able to attend in person are entitled to appoint a proxy to vote at the AGM on their behalf. Complete the proxy vote form on the CILIP website by 2 pm on Tuesday 15 October 2019: If you have any queries, please contact (Tel: 020 7255 0512).

  4. One minute’s silence will be observed to remember CILIP members who have passed away in the previous 12 months

  5. Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of 2018
  6. The minutes of the meeting to be approved as a correct record

  7. Matters arising from the minutes of 2018
  8. To take any matters arising from the minutes of last year’s AGM

  9. Report on the elections for 2018
  10. Report of the election for Board Members and the Vice-President

  11. Appointment of auditors
  12. To appoint haysmacintyre as CILIP’s Auditors for 2020

  13. Review of the year
  14. The Chief Executive Officer’s review of the year

  15. Receipt of the Trustees Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2018
  16. The Honorary Treasurer will introduce the Annual Report and Accounts for 2018

  17. Ethical sanctions
  18. The Chair of the Ethics Committee will present CILIP’s institutional ethical principles; a summary of the existing sanctions available under Disciplinary Regulations and how they may be used
