The CILIP Scotland Annual Conference will return to the Dundee Apex Hotel on 26th-27th October 2020. CILIPS President, Martina McChrystal, will host two days of keynotes, workshops, and talks under the theme of Disruptors & Innovators. 

This two-day event is the largest conference for library and information professionals in Scotland, bringing together colleagues from across the country and beyond to share knowledge, engage in professional development and to network. 

The programme this year features a range of excellent speakers to lead presentations, discussions, and workshops on current issues relevant across the profession. Keynote speakers include: Library Director of Aarhus Public Libraries, Marie Østergaard; Associate Director of External Relations at the National Library of Scotland, Jackie Cromarty; IFLA Manager of Policy and Advocacy, Stephen Wyber; CILIP CEO, Nick Poole; and Head of CILIPS, Sean McNamara. 

Breakout sessions cover topics including VR in libraries, fighting 'Fake News', the Wellcome Collection, Girls Who Code clubs in libraries, Makerspaces, and social inclusion.
