K&IM SIG Autumn webinar programme 2020

The K&IM SIG are pleased to announce the third series of their online webinars.

This latest series has been developed to help you deal with the tricky issue of successfully managing your work and ensuring you are productive in difficult times.

The second webinar in this series is on 15 October at 12.30 pm when Julie Bevan will be speaking on "Practical ways to overcome procrastination and perfectionism".

Webinar 1: Hybrid teams in the new normal by Katherine Thomas of Free Range Lawyers

Teams have changed, how can we effectively manage teams which are split between home and office workers? In this session, Katherine Thomas, talks about how to manage teams where some members are now keen home-workers and some are in the office.

If we are business leaders, how can we enable everyone to work in a way that they feel safe and they are productive and happy?

If we manage teams, how are we to ensure everyone feels supported and ensure messages and knowledge gets shared?

If we work as part of mixed teams, how can we collaborate and work together successfully?


Webinar 2: Practical ways to overcome procrastination and perfectionism by Julie Bevan of Julie Elizabeth Hypnotherapy

Often the fear of failure can leave us paralysed and unproductive. This practical webinar aims to help you to understand the stress and anxiety relating to perfectionism that can hold us back from even starting our work.

Julie Bevan, a solution focused hypnotherapist, will be explaining how our mind works especially when we are stressed and anxious, and the symptoms this can cause, such as insomnia, poor eating habits, IBS, OCD, procrastination etc.

She will highlight in this talk why we focus on our perceived imperfections and how, because of this, we fail to complete tasks, causing even more anxiety.


Webinar 3: Grow your resilience quotient by Fenella Hemus

22 October at 12.30 pm

In this webinar, Fenella Hemus, business coach and NLP specialist, will explore what resilience really is, how we can grow or increase it and ways that resilience benefits health and wellbeing, including:

  • what resilience is and what it is not
  • key ingredients for resilience
  • benefits of a good resilience quotient
  • your resilience levels, tips and tools.

The above webinars will be facilitated by Helene Russell (K&IM SIG Chair).

The recordings of the event will be circulated to attendees after the series is completed.

This event is developed and run by volunteers and we aim to reply to queries within 48 hrs.
