School Libraries - Diverse, Inclusive and Agents for Change
CILIP School Libraries Group Digital Conference 2023: Friday 6th October - Saturday 7th October 2023
Thank you so much for your interest in the School Libraries Group conference. We are now delighted to be able to confirm the final details with you. This year's conference will be digital, online via www.cilipslgconference.com on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October.
As you may know, we had hoped to hold an in-person conference this year as we had done so successfully in the past. However, because we recognise that many school libraries have had problems securing funding, and with conference venue costs increasing,
sadly we felt that an in-person conference this year just wasn’t financially viable. However, we felt that it was really important for the SLG Conference to continue, so instead we have decided to move our amazing programme to a digital platform this
year.
We do hope that you will attend our digital conference this year. We have a new online platform which will allow more interaction with speakers and delegates, and we will be hosting our usual publisher highlights and conference exhibitors.
The majority of speakers have already confirmed that they are still happy to speak, and we have an excellent programme for you. An additional benefit of our digital conference is that all sessions and seminars will be recorded and you will have
access to catch up on the full conference programme for three months after the event.
We have a full programme full of keynote speakers, seminars, workshops, publisher showcases and more!
Exhibitors
Our digital conference will include a virtual exhibition hall, with publishers' stands and an online bookshop.

Please note: some of the timings listed may change and details will continue to be added as they are confirmed.
