Library and Information Research (LIR)

Library and Information Research (LIR) is published by the Library and Information Research Group. It publishes both refereed and non-refereed submissions. Before 2003 the journal was published under the title Library and Information Research News.

We welcome submissions of research articles, reports and book reviews from both practitioners and academic researchers; and of course we are always interested to receive your feedback on the journal.

**  Announcement **

The Library & Information Research Group’s journal, Library & Information Research (LIR), is in the process of relaunching. We invite submissions from information professionals worldwide. These could be in the form of case studies, reports of best practice, peer-reviewed empirical studies, opinions, conference reports, MSc students’ dissertation summaries, or possibly other contributions. The journal is open source, and it is completely free to publish and read. Evidence Based Library and Information Practice (EBLIP)

EBLIP Journal is a peer reviewed, open access journal published quarterly by the  University of Alberta Learning Services EBLIP publishes original research and commentary on the topic of evidence based library and information practice, as well as reviews of previously published research (evidence summaries) on a wide number of topics.
