Building Bridges Conflict Resolution Book Group Reading Pack - Primary

These packs set out to provide book-based discussion and activities to support conflict resolution, encouraging students to think about how bridges may be built between opponents and enemies of different kinds.

At a time when conflict takes place at all levels of society, this theme seems particularly appropriate, and will help students to understand both the reasons why people with different ideas may clash, but also how they may understand each better and find ways to co-exist. It is the first time we have produced two packs, for secondary and primary. Obviously there are books appropriate for each stage, so there is some overlap between the packs, but we hope both primary and secondary schools will feel that they are able to get better value for money. As well as the books for which we provide discussion sheets, we have also included lists of titles that would also fit the theme. You can order this pack by emailing David Rose, our publications manager and stating how many packs, at £10 plus P&P, you would like.
