UKeiG Professional Development

Welcome to the professional development area of the UKeiG webpages. UKeiG’s extensive CPD programme is designed to meet the challenges facing information professionals in the digital workplace. Our courses offer practical, relevant, cost effective and high quality training.

Our development programme is open to members and non-members. CILIP/UKeiG members pay 20% less than non-members.

In order to ensure the relevance of our courses and events the UKeiG Management Committee is keen to work with our members to focus on seven key strands for development:

Information retrieval/search
Scholarly communications/open access
IM/KM/intranets
Social media
Ethics, legal compliance, intellectual property
Digital literacy
e-information/e-industry, R&D

If you have any queries about course content, expressions of interest or suggestions for new courses please email info.ukeig@cilip.org.uk

Online booking for these courses will open shortly and be advertised on relevant JISCMail forums including LIS-UKeiG. In the interim don't hesitate to email us to go on an advance notice delegate list.
