The information management and information systems undergraduate programme from the School of Management Science and Engineering at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology in Central China has been accredited by CILIP.
The Bachelor of Science programme in Information Management & Information Systems is a welcome addition to CILIP’s accredited programmes in Chinese and provides solid preparation for professional practice and a suitable base for anybody entering the information and data professions.

Our expanding overseas family offers quality assurance for learners pursuing careers in the wide range of information and knowledge fields.”

The NUIST major of information management and information systems is based on meteorological data collection and analysis, meteorological information system analysis and design, and meteorological information service. It is the only high-level major of information management and information system with meteorological characteristics in China and is rated first class within the province. The department is the third CILIP accredited learning provider in mainland China following Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou and Nanjing Agricultural University.
CILIP’s learning provider accreditation is designed to help students choose library, information and archive career programmes that cover the essential skills and knowledge, and have been rigorously assessed. Programmes are assessed using the CILIP Professional Knowledge and Skills Base which identifies the core knowledge and skills of the profession. The PKSB is a flexible and practical tool which has been designed to be straight forward and comprehensive in order to capture the many different types of skills and knowledge that are expected of a modern information professional.
