Staffing and structural changes at CILIP

Staffing and structural changes at CILIP

Like many organisations in our sector, CILIP is currently consulting with staff on a restructure of our teams, roles and functions. This restructure was approved by the CILIP Board of Trustees in September with 3 main aims:

  1. To refresh and refocus our strategy on delivering value for members and growing our membership;

  2. To ensure that the organisation is financially sustainable for the long-term, and;

  3. To take a planned approach to devolution, enabling us to be closer to our members and more responsive to their needs.

Members can be assured that CILIP is committed to delivering the full range of benefits to which they are entitled. As part of this process, CILIP will also be reviewing our internal processes and systems to ensure that they are as simple and easy-to-use as possible. We are working with our colleagues in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to ensure that we can continue to provide support to members, wherever they work.

We anticipate that these internal changes will have taken effect in time for the New Year 2019, and we will be writing to all members, partners and stakeholders to provide information about the new team.

CEO, CILIP
