CILIP Training: Digital Privacy

This interactive, half-day workshop will show you basic digital privacy tools and practices and outline steps to take to better protect the online privacy of those using library and information services.

Aude Charillon

Aude Charillon works as a Library and Information Officer at Newcastle Libraries. She was part of the first cohort of Carnegie Library Lab Partners, which allowed her to develop the project Commons are Forever – encouraging citizens to discover and re-use creative works.

Her current areas of responsibility include the Business & IP Centre Newcastle, open data and digital literacy activities. Since 2016 she has co-organised several cryptoparties at Newcastle City Library and has been exploring ways for Newcastle Libraries to take a more active stance in helping citizens and visitors to protect their privacy online.
