Wed, 4th Mar 2015 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

The Mills Archive created in 2002,  responded to a need for a permanent repository of documents and images related to mills, milling and their associated trades and industries worldwide.

Their remit includes the history and development of milling technology (traditional mills to modern roller mills) and the use of wind and water powered mills for renewable energy.   In just 12 years the archive and library has 2 million documents and images in 100 major collections, a library collection with 4000+ items, 4 professional staff, volunteers and work placements.  A new website and archive catalogue are among other achievements of this dynamic organisation.

Do join CilipTV to learn how all this has been accomplished & to get inspiration and insight into a young, successful and rapidly growing collection of national and international significance.

Post visit networking in nearby pub optional!

RSVP: Please book ASAP! Closing deadline for booking is 20th February.
