    Administering membership joining and renewal.

    Providing proactive and member driven services by working closely with employers, learning providers, trainers, those supporting Professional Registration and the Member Networks (Regional Member Networks and Special Interest Groups).

    Producing Update, the leading magazine for library, information and knowledge management professionals. Managing Lisjobnet, the number one recruitment website for the information professions.

    Supporting the development of members with networking and learning opportunities through the Branch and Group network and events such as our annual conference, Autumn Gathering and CPD programme. Recognition and reward through awards and bursaries. A regular newsletter to keep members informed of our advocacy and policy work in devolved matters.
