UKeIG is pleased to publish the final programme for the 2017 Members' Day and 39th Annual General Meeting.

The theme for the day is "Information Modelling Using Data" - understanding and interpreting data.

11.00 - 11.30 Building Information Modelling: UK construction’s information engine room. Keith Wilson (Construction Information Consultant)

11.30 - 12.00 Releasing and Re-using Library Data. Aude Charillon from Newcastle City Libraries

Aude will explain why and how Newcastle Libraries have set out to release data collected by the service and organised activities for citizens to engage with it. She will share examples and ideas of what can be done in terms of data visualisation by collaborating with the local community.

14.00 - 15.00 Jisc Library Data Labs project - Siobhan Burke (Jisc)

This session will present the Jisc Library Data Labs project, whose main purpose was to develop proof of concept data visualised dashboards using library data in conjunction with HESA data, with the potential to be delivered via the new Heidi Plus business intelligence tool for the HE sector. In addition, there will be an interactive element which will replicate the initial planning phase used in the Labs project. This will enable participants to gain an understanding of the process used, including learning the basics of agile by putting these into practice on the day.
