Join us for a tour of the recently refurbished Brynmor Jones library at the University of Hull, followed by the Philip Larkin exhibition New Eyes Each Year. This exhibition is one of the events supporting Hull’s year as UK City of Culture. The exhibition closes on October 1st, so this is one of the last chances you’ll have to discover more about the poet and librarian Philip Larkin. He spent thirty years as librarian at the University of Hull, and was instrumental in the construction of the Brynmor Jones library in the 1960s.
Please book tickets via Eventbrite. If the visit is fully booked, you will be able to add yourself to the waiting list, and will be emailed if a place becomes available.
How to get there
The University of Hull campus is a couple of miles from the city centre. Buses 103 or 105 will get you from Hull Interchange to the University (Cottingham Road) in about 20 minutes, and should cost roughly £4 for a return. Several car parks are marked on the campus map.
If you have any accessibility concerns, please contact email@example.com before the visit and we will do our best to help.
