  • CPD Forum

The CPD Forum is a national CILIP meeting which brings together the CILIP Professional Development Group and the Professional Registration Support Network which supports Candidate Support Officers (CSOs)  and Mentor Support Officers (MSOs).

Together these groups work to provide development opportunities for CILIP members, no matter what stage of their career.

    The CPD Forum:

  • Projects and reviews

Our projects and reviews are delivering a programme of major and fundamental change. They contribute to making sure that CILIP appeals to the breadth of the information professions, is well governed and provides relevant and high quality benefits to members and key stakeholders.

  • Ethics

We have a set of Ethical Principles and a Code of Professional Practice for our members. The Principles and Code provide a framework to help library, information and knowledge professionals who are members of CILIP to manage the responsibilities and sensitivities of their work in line with the values of the profession.

  • Action Plan 2016 - 2020

CILIP's Action Plan 2016 - 2020 sets out a fresh vision and direction for the organisation. It sets out our objectives and activities between now and 2020. It was created through an open, collaborate project with the information, library and knowledge community.
