Part 1 Learning Objectives:
- Assess the role of a Copyright Officer
- Explore related statutory, regulatory and operational requirements
- Analyse and assess the role of the exceptions to copyright in your organisation
- Gain inspiration from the trainer and the other delegates in an interactive learning environment
Part 2 Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the latest UK copyright legislation as well as developments across the EU, including Brexit and how they affect your organisation
- Determine the role of licences in your organisation and how you can negotiate them better
- Evaluate the role of risk management in your organisation as part of your copyright practices
- Establish practical strategies to ensure your organisation remains compliant, including the development of an IP Policy
