Mae Rheolwr Datblygu Cymuned CILIP Cymru yn gweithio gyda Phwyllgor CILIP Cymru , Pwyllgor cenedlaethol etholedig
er mwyn:
- Hyrwyddo ar ran y proffesiwn yng Nghymru
- Cefnogi datblygiad proffesiynol Aelodau CILIP yng Nghymru
- Cynyddu Aelodaeth CILIP yng Nghymru
Beth mae CILIP Cymru yn ei wneud:
- cynnal ymgyrchoedd eiriolaeth traws-sector
- cynnal Cynhadledd Dwyflynyddol Llyfrgelloedd a Gwybodaeth yng Nghymru
- cynnal Diwrnod Gwybodaetham CILIP ddim a Chyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol CILIP yng Nghymru
- darparu mynediad i nifer o ddigwyddiadau cefnogi DPP trwy gydol y flwyddyn
Mae gan Aeldoau CILIP yng Nghymru fynediad ar Gronfa Kathleen Cooks, cronfa elusennol sy’n cefnogi datblygiad
proffesiynol a gwasanaethau.
Cydnabyddir cyflawniadau proffesiynol nodedig gan Gwobr Tîm y Flwyddyn Llyfrgell Cymru.
Cenhadaeth
Mae CILIP Cymru yn datgan bod darpariaeth llyfrgell a gwybodaeth o ansawdd uchel yn ofyniad sylfaenol ar gyfer cymdeithas wybodus, ddemocrataidd, a dwyieithog yng Nghymru a thrwy ei haelodau mae'n ceisio gwneud darpariaeth o'r fath ar
gael i bawb.
CILIP Wales represents CILIP in Wales
The CILIP Community Development Manager for Wales works with the CILIP Wales Committee,
an elected national Committee to:
- Advocate on behalf of the profession in Wales
- Support the professional development of CILIP Members in Wales
- Grow CILIP Membership in Wales
What CILIP Wales does:
- carries out cross sector advocacy campaigns
- hosts a biennial Library and Information Conference in Wales
- hosts a free CILIP Information Day and AGM in Wales
- provides access to a number of CPD support events throughout the year
CILIP Members in Wales have access to the Kathleen Cooks Fund, a
benevolent fund that supports professional and service development.
Outstanding professional achievements are recognised by the Welsh Library Team of the Year Award.
Mission
CILIP Wales asserts that high quality library and information provision is a fundamental requirement for an informed, democratic, and bilingual society in Wales and through its members it seeks to make such provision available to all.
