Complete the attached form to enter the Marketing Excellence Awards.
Once complete, please save as either a Word or PDF document and send to secretary.mcg@cilip.org.uk by 5pm on Monday 12th July 2021.
All entrants will be notified of the outcome of their entry by September 2021. Award winner(s) will be invited to speak at the MCG conference in January 2022. Feedback on entries can be provided on request.
Marketing activity should have taken place between January 2020 and May 2021. Campaigns do not need to be complete by the time of entering the awards, but you should be able to provide enough information to meet each of the awards evaluation criteria. There is no word limit for each answer, and text boxes can be adjusted to fit the information you provide. You may also include an appendix with images from your campaign.
The Awards are judged against the following criteria:
- Success in meeting the original aims and objectives of the campaign
- Suitability of the concept/content to target market
- Quality of graphics, design and copywriting (where appropriate)
- Range, effectiveness and appropriateness of the marketing communications used
- Timing, message and consistency of marketing communications
- Evaluation of campaign, demonstrating evidence of impact on the community or target audience (such as customer interaction, feedback, attendance, media coverage)
- Effective use of non-financial resources
- Effective use of project budget
