CILIP members have access to the Professional Knowledge and Skills Base (PKSB), a self-assessment tool to help you plan your career by mapping your knowledge and identifying any skills gaps you have.
Our PKSB for the healthcare sector has been developed in partnership with Health Education England and encompasses the specific skills required for librarians, information and knowledge workers in health and social care.
The Health and Digital Literacy Partnership supports citizens to develop the skills that they will need to access, assess and use health information in an increasingly digital environment.
Pilot projects received funding in two cohorts to try out different approaches to improving health and digital literacy.
