proposals from any prospective partners that share our aims and values.
Examples of recent partnership initiatives developed by CILIP include:
Information as an Asset, our project with KPMG to encourage Boards and ‘c-suite’ executives to invest in building information capability in their organisations;
#AMillionDecisions, our partnership with Health Education England to secure recognition of and investment in librarians and knowledge specialists in health;
Our collaboration with Network Rail to support the professional and workforce development elements of their large-scale programme to digitise rail infrastructure;
#GreatSchoolLibraries, our campaign with the CILIP School Libraries Group and the School Libraries Association to champion the value of great school libraries and librarians in education
The Amnesty CILIP Honour, a 3-year programme to celebrate the power of children’s books and illustration to illuminate themes around Human Rights
